So I'm posting some photos from the summer family bushcraft day.  One of those days when children unfold into the woods and parents find new ways to play... Now to dig out the waterproofs and get going into the autumn weather.

The weather has really turned to autumn now and thoughts turn inwards.  Coppicing has started at the emergingYoung Wood project near Staple Fitzpaine and it's great to have days doing practical work with the Neroche volunteers. A good pile of coppicewood is growing on the edge of the ride... beanpoles for the spring, firewood for winters to come.
